whats this all, i have been assuming that building no follow links will add nothing to the ranking of any keyword, but have come to know that no follow html tags have no impact on links crawling, webmaster tools show off the links from the no follow type with the do follow, is this ok to post no follow links are they same as do follow..?

I was penalized when I allowed comments on my blog. Some of the comments were considered spam. As a result I lost almost all the rank I built up through the years. I have closed the blog and no longer have an online presence. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I read this article and don't know if it will be good or bad for us. It looks like Google caffeine will use page load time as a factor for sites being listed. The time listed in the article is 3 seconds. 3 seconds in this day and age is slow so it shouldn't hurt too bad. It's just interesting that Google is going this way. Now we'll have one thing to worry about when we optimize our sites for Google. I can see it now. We'll have stop watches out timing our page loads so that Google doesn't penalize us.

Hi all I have been playing around at learning SEO and web design in my spare time. I also fix Xbox 360's so I decided to try create a site to promote my new 'company': 360expertz I have a few links in blog comments and also on Ixtreme forum etc and I appear pretty well on google with search phrases such as '360 flashing in torquay' etc. but I only get about an average of 5 hits per day! I used to have a poor site called Fifa11tricks <dot>co <dot>cc and this generated 500+ hits everyday. I gather that this is because I have not many backlinks. But I cannot think where to get any from? can anyone give me an idea or helping hand please. My webs…
