The new Facebook virus that is going on is a simple status message from one of your friends to another friend tagging him in a video, and with a very casual message. [Friends Name], this is hilarious http://www.dailybloggr.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif http://www.dailybloggr.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif http://www.dailybloggr.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif And beneath it is a girls a**, which appears to be a thumbnail of a video shared to the friend. Here’s what showed up on my timeline. http://www.dailybloggr.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/facebooknewvideovirus.png Nothing looks wrong here except that when you click on the video thumbnail, it directs you to install another video application (which you might as well think that your friend used to share the video). ON installing the application, the very same message goes out from you to all your friends publicly viewable ! A neat and clever attack this time, and I’m really not sure if there is any private data being compromised here. Just a word of caution. More updates soon. http://api.tweetmeme.com/imagebutton.gif?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailybloggr.com%2F2010%2F05%2Ffacebook-virus-alert-distracting-beach-babes-video-hq%2F&source=ManiKarthik&style=compact&service=bit.ly <div align="center">
