For those who can’t wait, AnchorFree Founder David Gorodyansky has put a $2 million ‘buy it now’ price tag on the deal. http://www.dailybloggr.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/image1.png The patent describes a pricing model that charges search advertisers based on a CPA model rather than cost-per-click (CPC). It also covers giving ad fees back to the person searching on an engine. These descriptions appear in the claims section. This however will not affect the major search engines like Google. in my opinion. Because this patent now has to go live with a relatively smaller search engine, where the search volume is lower. Had it been on Google, then this idea would have been revolutionary, but I doubt if Google will plunge in.
