Looks like its strike one from Yahoo to the big G, this time.

Yahoo has just launched their live cricket score updates on Yahoo search, where any search related to cricket (actually, almost any search) will give you the live score card right within the results. Not just that, Yahoo also provides cricket fans with upcoming cricket match schedules and player profile information. Sweet!

Google, on the other hand dedicated an exclusive doodle for the World Cup, and that was that !

I particularly like the way Yahoo released this feature with their opening line –
