I am newbie in Google Analytic. I would like to know about funnel. What is it?and what is the purpose to do?

You create a funnel to track how visitors come to your site. Say you want to see if an article you wrote is bringing in good traffic. You create a funnel to that page and then you'll be able to seer the hits to that page.
