Consistency is the name of the game Okay, Im not going to ask if you are consistent or not, because everyone says they are. You need some serious motivation to keep blogging. Like to the extent where you shouldnt be able to get sleep if you dont blog. Got it ? No ? Move on. 2. Get organized (you better) There is no problem being a sloppy, irregular blogger. The problem is towards your first part of career, you cannot afford to be one. At least pretend that you are a regular blogger. How ? Schedule posts ? WordPress has this beautiful option to publish blogs at a later time automatically. Make use of it. Write things in one go and spread it across evenly. Organize topics equally across days and weeks. Make sure you dont leave gaps in between. When youre an established blogger however, you can take a break now and then. 3. Dont repeat what others did and are applauded for Well, theres no problem observing them, but dont copy. A famous and popular blogger would have thousands of followers and its easy for one to get excited and copy him. But understand that thousands are already following him and they already know his style. You most probably would be reaching out to the same followers. Oops ! Got it ? Create a style of your own. Even if you suck at it, stick to it. If youre consistent enough, people will recognize you for what you are not what you copied. 4. Focus on your target audience, ignore others Most likely youll piss off a few folks along the way for repeating things, for being basic, for being advanced or just about anything. But thats not going to affect you because your readers are who love you and who subscribe to you, who encourage you and not the other bunch, whod anyway not be interested in reciprocating their benefits if at all. So dont be afraid to write your mind out, dont be afraid to tell the world what you want to, be it ideas, thoughts, instructions, tips or jokes. Blogs are anyways meant for sharing information.
