Does this really help? I have doubts.

I use the email. Been doing it for years. Very reliable.

Since I turned off comments and removed the ones considered spam the pages have show back in Google search.

My Name is Harold. I've had a blog that was geared to seo specifically Google. I closed it down. I try to stay active on SEO or webmaster forums. I found this site because at one time I joined. I don't remember the username or I would have tried to log in with it. In any case I can be your Google expert. I was penalized when I allowed comments on my blog. Some of the comments were considered spam. As a result I lost almost all the rank I built up through the years. I have closed the blog and no longer have an online presence. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I used adwords for my blog. It didn't drive in as much traffic as I thought. Has anyone had any success with use Adwords? I'm trying to see if it was me that had problems.
